Ek aur mausam aa gaya .....Arabs named it Mansoon .....came from Arabic Word "Mausim" which meant weather...
Mansoon has always been regarded as life line of world's oldest surviving civilisation ..INDIAN Civilisation ...
But off late ..Mansoon brings terror attacks to many places !
We have a City Called Mumbai..Earlier known as Bombay ...
A city also known as one of the most dense places on earth ,A place often referred to as financial capital of world's second fastest growing economy, a city of dreams and aspirations ,a city which never sleeps ,a city which was gifted to Union Jack as a chunk of 7 Islands...Brits developed it as an Important Industrial and Port city ,majorly reclaiming land from the Indian Ocean .
They provided alot to the city ...first ever train in India was started here (thane) and a well designed drainage system (as per those days).
Now Our Mumbai is swelling like anything ...but this swelling just goes un noticed..
After all who will notice it ,those who have seen it ,have always seen it like this ..busy ,running ,over crowded trains,people travelling all across the length (there are hardly any breadths to this city) ,high competition to survive ,sowhat if can live on a snatched piece of other's bread !
BUT There is something new in past few years !! Unfortunately ,this new is not something positive .....
These yrs rains come to Mumbai and bring with even best of the terrorist attacks have been unable to do it ---THEY HAULT THE MUMBAI .
Our city still relies too much on drainage systems of 19th century ....Our Chief Minister of Maharashtra (Province of which Mumbai is capital) sits at Seattle when city is may be you can say practicising to become modern day's DWARKA ....Drowning !

There have been lots of new developments in Mumbai but seems like nothing has been planned to support the basic structure of city.....Shanites are way of life ....quite shamingly City boasts (or otherwise) of Asia's biggest slums DHARAVI .Slight rain blocks the drains coz the Municipal corp.did not clear the drains when it was needed ...polybags and stuff like that helped choking city life to death for some days ....
If you are taking a ground flat in City !! God save you !!
why are you investing in one of world's most expensive real estates when during mansoon you plan to see your Sofas drowned and TVs floating !! and you will be knocking doors of the nieghbours wholive in your upper floors for a night sleeps coz you can not even stand in you OWNED flat ???
I know that City has many talents ,Hafiz Contractor is one of the best architects an cityplanners avialable in nation. I mean ,why not form a panel and chalk out a permanent solution to this ,provide an advanced drainage system to city ,provide some free space to city where the water can be drained out ....For sure this way you can never even compare It with Shanghai or Singapore ..Never !!
Mumbai will have to wake up and do something abut it ..If Mumbai can not do it for itself then which other city in India can do it for itself ????

After a long gap ........

I guess the last post i made was some one year back..I had newly moved to Hong Kong from China those days.
Well now one year down the line am still in Hong Kong .
World has changed alot since then...For me ,work front ,my personal front and otherwise as well...
Global warming is taking is toll all across the globe with South Asian Nations suffering presently..India..Pakistan ..China..Thailand and so on !!
Learnt yesterday that sacred Ice Shivlinga ,in Holy pilgrimage for Hindus at Amarnath also melted due to heat ! Shiv also known as Mahesh is supposed to be one of famous trinity in Hindu Mythology ....: Brahma (Creator),Vishnu (preserver),Mahesh (Destroyer). It is said that whenever the Destroyer god is not happy with the deeds of Human beings he shows his anger in form of calamities etc..So Hindus take Earthqukes ,Draughts,Epidemics ,Floods and all such things as Shiva's anger !! But it's rather interesting to see that Shivlinga (which Hindus worship coz hey take it as very origin of Life) itself had to disappear !!
Is Shiva so frustated with Humans now ??
Well ,May be ! Global warming is definately not a phenomena taking place coz of What Lions or elephants or Birds or Fishes or Insects are doing in this world ! Whole blame is to be shared with Human race .What we are capable of doing and what we are actually doing ..actually no one has realised yet !
Actually as per me Shiva already tried giving some wake up calls to us in recent past ....Say Tsunamis , Ritas and Katerinas to name a few ! These were new of it's kind !
But seems like we are not listening ,or may be too busy fighting with each other or to achieve not so needed goals of life !
What can Shiva do now ....
United States which will talk about all the issues ranging from Human rights to democracy in the nations which it needs to take on a head on approach ( read China and Middle eat oil rich nations ) ,It will go a long way to ensure it is heard ...even will force it's way ....It's so called way for IMPOSED democracy or ...own defination of HUMAN rights (may be which doesn't apply on it's own run torture camps at Guantanamo Bay ) ..US has done all this ..
But interstingly this nation with Less than 1/25th population of the world is the biggest contributer to the polluting gases !!
Till date it has wamhantely refused to agree with and follow the EARTH Summit Norms and recommendations at Rio De Jenario .
I really can not take this hippocracy !
Even poor nations ( I don't called India at Developing nation ....that way all the nations are developing ..some dveloping industries,some with populations ..some with diseases ;) ..Like India ..are trying something which was till a while ago was un imaginable for them ...CNG is being introduced at some cities and no. of CNG cities is increasing ..that's a good sign..atleast we are a better democracy than USA ....though Mobocracy at times :-)

Has been a while since i posted it last after dreadful Mumbai Blasts..Though i have shown the links over my profiles here and there but..My Apologies to those who visited the link and found nothing new.
Oh well ,to tell you what i am upto these days..Literally starving for Indian & Homemade food ...that's one thing i really miss everyday.
Otherwise..In office i have been busy..it never ends.Last week walked through the Hongkong Electronics Show..Oh my! THE place to find the latest gadgest and Gizmos..After all all are made in China Taiwan etc..and you gotta see the kind of innovation and tech -Zenith time has reached now.
One thing which amazed me was ..VOIP phones..I saw Hundreds if not in thousands of Manufactureres from China ,for this.i think the idea SKYPE floated sometime back is making huge bags of Dollers...Every damn Stall was showing SKYPE banner and approval etc etc from SKYPE..
Remember when i first sat on Skype...i was wondering ..How the hell SKYPE is making money..No ads nothing..Free phone..How!!
I can now undersstand ,how it's filling it's ever enlarging pockets with Royalty now.
Besides this many small big intersting gadgets..Cell phone manufacturers many of whom might be producing better stuff than NOKIA or Sony Ericsson...But alas they are SMALL..
But one thing i have noticed in this tech revolution age..Nothing is small....Remember how Google..Skype...Messanger were the bloody new things..How i did not now the very meaning of BLOG..and searched the internet to find out some explaination..But now see..am blogging and you somewhere..are reading it .:)
Internet is keeping me alive if i say ,it won't be wrong..

Ok,apart from this on my office front ..now working on some new products..like Mosaic Kit ( I really think i will find a manfacturer in China..) which is till now only made in Germany ,i think..then there is some work going on Gel Stickers..Small small stuff.After here our whole sole aim is to Flood the Europe mkt..is in't it;)

Mumbai Blasts-- Let there be some light !!!

I am as sure as anyone else who knows Mumbai,it's going through some real tough phase ,heavy rains,Shiv Sena disturbences and them worst of all July 11 Blasts.
As i learnt about this through internet as a breaking news i got to know that the number of sufferers must have been in Hundreds if not in thousands.Terrorists this time hurted the life line of Mumbai ,my heart goes for all those who faced it .
I actually have been seeing and dicsussing with people anywhere i get to meet.Human being in general have grown more untolerent and the deeds have turned more henious.I don't really know what is the final motive.I see stupid Hammas kidnapping 19yr old Israeli only to be bombed rashly and i am sure they have paid it by 200 lives at least.I really am curious to know how Israel expects that bombing civilians in Pelestine and Lebnon will get that boy back.We saw London bombings,Madrid bombing,Bali Bombings....Some time back ,Beslan was one of the most horrible incidents i can think ,took place when 400+ Kids were killed by fanatics .Adding to this list ever existing issues in North /west and Central africa,where a mass scale massacre is just a routine.
Specially so called Suicide Bombing has become a catchy words (catchy for all those who have no heads on those shoulders).I really can not understand what brings some one to do acts like 9/11..or Beslan..Or Madrid Train..Or Moscow Theatre ..Or Bali Bombing or Mumbai Trains blasts or Akshar Dham temple attack...I really can not make out.
Life is so precious in my terminology...It is just NON negotiable possesion someone has given all of us...I CAN NOT barter it for any amout of wealth/peace/happiness/or whatever so call martayerdom ...I just can not..But how can one just get away from this LOVE FOR LIFE.I can not understand....Fine!!! one wants to die himself...Do it..But why so many others who you actualy don't know,whom you never met,who never even thought about you,thinking in a wrong way is also a remotest possibility.How can you kill so many fellow humans for NOTHING???
Ones you did suicide attack,what was the end result .....You died,your family suffered(if they were there) ,you killed so many i don't know who all...Kids..olds..innocents..wonderful lives,you made so many living people helpless,you made so many suffer for all the life full of misery..Is this where you find your happiness,your satisfaction,you final aim.What bloody things,what stupid goal, WHAT DID you achieved?
Even if you believe in So called GOD who wants you to be Martyer,you think god was happy to see you killing himself and so many other beautiful creation of God himself....Did you ever feel happy at some one mercilessly tearing apart your painfully done painting work? If you can not feel happy at this ,how can the god??
If your body can not feel human sentiments,emotions,feelings like mercy,kindness,love for life and finding pleasure in looking at others happy,don't you think you have a deformed brain???
I really want to meet a Suicider and ask him these questions.
Even if you are dumb ,How the hell on earth can you be so dumb to blow yourself and many others away.Did you ever have a chance to visit single home of a victim of such terror?Can not you look into the eyes of those who lost someone of their own.
Can not you understand simple thing that this flesh and blood is there in someones body to run inside... not run free outside,getting exposed as effect of some explosive.Can not you obey the nature ,created by some one same ,you claim to be killing yourself for???
Taking it other way round...You must have read and seen of many to achieved so called Martyerdom like you plan to ,now tell me frankly what could they change on earth??
Do you think 9/11 really tought America a lesson,or you think the Guys who brutally killed so many cute kids( i saw their pics ,they really were) in Beslan gave you your part of so called Chechenya....Zaqarawi dead and Shamil Basayev dead..they died pathetic death and so did all the suicide bombers ,no one to remember them....I can not remember any single Suicide bomber who really achieved a might even after killing ownself and many others.
There are better ways to lead life.If you are born on this earth ,live like a human,love life ,yours and others...Feel...Feel for yourself and for others.
The other day i saw disgusting video where Some bastards were beheading one helpless man somewhere in Iraq.It was just pathetic.I bet it was .I was just imagining how would one who were in all black with the gun and knife in the hand felt if the roles would have got reversed.
Seeing a helpless person who actually has not done ANY thing against you ,being tied and waiting for his death in next 5 minutes and then shrilling his throat out helplessly and then just in a minute 4 morons insulting his head in hand ,away from body,silent for ever,eyes closed was a horrible experience for me.
Every nation ,every person is beliving ,we are the right ones,we have the right to have more..more land..more money..more share...more say ...more power in in this race they are doing any and everyhting which must be avoided...
Funny it sounds but ,see,Kim Jong Jil ,ruthless North Korean dictator wants to create Nukes (don't know for what,he should understand his life is also as vunerable as any other human being)..where as All the North Korean live in miserable living conditions.
Same is the case with Middle East,i don't know what wonders Pelestineans can do with over growing illetrate population even if they drive Iseralis out,How much more land one wants...Go and Read Leo Tolstoy,even after death 2 mts is all one wants( or even less most of the times).
When everyone is born on the same earth than how can this earth belong to some one community ,why can not have larger heart.Why the hell one community needs always seperate peice of land..any where they get chance...Middle east/Russia/China/India/Asia Pacefic....Why always feel that they are being exploited and devoid of their rights.Why can not have more friendly and open attitude ,why not talk and learn of harmonious and multicoloured life rather than trying to terrorise people by foolish and unpardonable killings.
Do you think Newyork or London or Moscow or Mumbai and Delhi ...any of these cities lost it's status on world map after this???Do you really think that your deeds effected it,even if you have a sadist thinking?
Forget god..forget a community and forget a civilisation ,if you think like this you are very very small.....you hardly can effect these cities full of life,hope ,colors and means to support life..You can not kill the soul of these cities..
I think if you are thinking of being a suicide bomber you are in DARK...
I am sure THERE HAS TO BE SOME LIGHT ..there must be ,which bring you and makes you face to face brightness of life ,the ultimate creation..to the truth that life is to be cherished,to be appriciated and preserved ...Not for damaging destroying and perishing..distoring..
I just wish this light comes soon ,without missing a nanosecond,or else it will be too late ..not for these living people /cities/nations and governments and culture but for you..Coz they will still survive...only you would have blown yourself by that time....damaging some other lives around you..Leaving many crying helplessly ...not for you though....Pity...even after your death...all what you will get is curses ...you can not be a Martyer..Never!!!!

Rain Fury

I have really never been into a habit of maintaining personal diary of events in my life ,just like i never excerised in my life more than a week regularly....This is why i am not much into blogging too.But slowly i hope i can change myself and blog more often.
Sometimes ,specially when you are not really with your own people and if the work life is also going predicatable,life seems to have come to standstill ,probably these are one of those not so happening days for me.
It has rained cats and dogs in Shenzhen last week..Few parts of Guangdong and Fujian provinces have also got flooded..
but it has been fine since last 2 days or so..I can seen more greening pactches of land ,sitting in my 58th Floor office Specially when i see towards the Hongkong part of land..
I am living in Shenzhen ,Neighbouring main land Chineses city to Hongkong .
Well..So what i was talking about ,Rain.!! Ya...
I have seen mainy places with rain,those where it rains rarely and those when it rains almost everyday...
remember my days in Darjeeling,we had our place which was sadwiched by wonderful tea estate on one and a river on other side.The third side ,you could see the hills , on which towns of Kalimpong and Kursiang were there.
It was a routine...It would rain almost everyday there ,without fail....For me it was weired as well as intersting.
Fourth side if we look there was vast land...you would almost see horizon there those days.
When It starts raining there DURING rainy season,it will be worth watching .We can see Lord Indra's Laser show of Electric lightening even during day time..you can see swords of electricity parting the sky all the way down touching the ground...many a times trees and even electircal appliances in home used to get damaged badly.I remember i used to go on walk after my boring study time in evening towards horizon and suddenly i will notice clouds coming and as if they will run after me.....Kids in colony used to literally have a race with clouds,who reaches their home first...they will run ,clouds will follow ..and many a times kids will just get in home and then clouds will drench the home.many a times vice versa ...All of sudden due to heavy clouds it will turn dark and ,of course power cut as well..No body will be in mood to study ..But it used to irritate me ,not because i was very studious but because i was finiding myself too weak to cope up with the pressure of taking Science subjects..Physics,Chemistry,Maths and Biology...Bio used to be my favourite but Maths was horror..
Many a times it will rain non stop too heavily....Water getting logged in front of all the apartments ,frogs/snakes and leeches uses to make their appearences ,being a hilly area.Not to forget,heavy mansoons and flooding in Rivers used to drive Assamese Elephants out of their territories in forests..Often we will find a herd of as many as 30-40 Elephants marching towards residential colonies and it used to be too dangerous to go out alone in evening.Elephants ,used to be on real rampage once entering Human habitat.They used to attack Army ration stores and Messes for the food....They kind of ,knew where what was kept and they had a strategy to deal with humans.Even firing of gun,fire torches and beating of drum later became uneffective in driving them out.
I still remember very clearly,we used to get daily milk supply from Military Dairy which was a few kilometers away from my place and every evening i will go on my bicycle to fetch milk...that evening it rained alot and thus could not go out to get milk on time ...Infact most of them couldn't.As the rain stopped it was some 6 in evening,too dark for hills.But as we needed milk i went out on bicycle...While i reached milk dairy ,i had friends and seniors talking about the fury of elephants during rainy days,there was an attack of elephants last night on dairy...they looted all the grains in Military store....Can you believe?
Well ,fetching the milk i was back on my way to home ,just imagining how the people would have felt ,deep in night finding Enormous animal in front of them...I was in my thoughts ,and suddenly,I saw i was just a few feet away from an Elephant ,just a few feet.....infact there were 3-4 of them...they were being chased away by group of men,and they were running all the way through tea estate..since elphants were frightened,there was a danger for me as i was in front of them..I had milk vassel in one hand and cycle handle in another I thought,by the time i turn the bike and move back..I don't know what will happnen..Stoping there was also of no use...Only way was ...I speeded as much as i could,on the slippery road....balancing was also difficult..but Man! that was a real narrow escape...I felt good reached alive home....Phooh!!
Last year i went to Bangalore ,i visted my institute and was meeting everyone there in my college..It rained there badly..So badly as it never did!!! NEVER!!!!
I decided to take a ride back in college bus..but it was just amazing...Indian Silicon valley..IT Dynamo of India..Bangalore had come to a stand still ..there was water logging every where..no traffic movement..the journey which takes 20 minutes took not less than 2.5 hrs....I saw the roads of Bangalore ,resembling branches of Brahmaputra river....
Excess raining has also become a trend..with global warming..Three of Indian majors Mumbai,Bangalore and Chennai witnessed the horor last year..I can not say i was fortunate or unfortunate for this...but i did see 87cms rains in Bangalore same day...
Katarina and Rita ripped US coast ,Even here in China it rained hell...Even places Like Germany and Romania also faced Flood fury last year...I am afraid but sure this will be repaeted this year too...as every educated says..I too ,we got to do something soon to avoid..tsunamis...Bombay fury and Rita's and Katarinas...

Enthusiasm

Was reading Chetan Bhagat's superseller "Five pooint someone" which tells you tale of 3 briiliant yet mischeiveous guys who are students of IIT...India's premier Engineering institute..Reading through their life in hostel and kind of fun as well as tough time they go through refreshened my memories of good old days in college.
Remember, i entered the college premises first as NOT so happening kind of guy!Things were a bit differnet ,i came from a bit diffrent upbringing.But i still remember,those were the days i decided that one got to change for good.Things are not going to wait for me ,time runs fast and if i had to catch the metropolitan pace i had to change drastically in many aspects.Though there were many basic aspects where i just did not want to change but there were double the number, i really wanted to .
I had my way to try things out.Probably being a leo ,i hated to be dictated by what others usually do..I wanted to try my own concepts and ideas and always respected someone who felt same like me.I hated herd mentality.
I tried to build myself morally and willingly strong..those were 2 key areas.There was lot's of brushing up needed and i am glad, the circle of friends i had in college was an excellent one..People did criticised me ,but did respect me,did support me when needed and who knows people also may be followed if there was any good pioneering example set by...
Days remained hectic throughout college life..But i loved those and still miss .There were challanges everyday.Long classes,hostel descipline,internal competition to some extent and all that.
But key thing which has been disappearing from me eversince i passed out of college is the stamina to sit and concentrate on study.I did not leave study..After 2 years of work ,i joined some real difficult courses which i felt will take me towards better tomorrow ...i tried and really tried alot.
But some how i have yet been not able to recollect that ability.Special to mention was 1 week of real intense study of Wines in my final year with my close pal Amit...We studied during days and nights,like two crazy men,as if were are studying for cancer research..We wanted to conquer the toughest field in hoteliering .Because of technicality people used to avoid it ,and thus it became a horror somehow....Mugging up names of complex wines from various parts of world,getting a feel of their character,origin,manufacturing etc. etc. became our passion for a week....And really i am still amused at our success to be able to do that..How could we?That was so different.when we did not even know famous french wines properly ,just in a span of week we were talking in language of wines from remote places like Israel,Yugoslavia and Cyprus etc....We literally were able to mug up that some 270 pages long book on wines....
having that confindence really boosted our morale and i am sure it helped me in later part of my first job life.
But talking of now,i just can not concentrate,at times get a feel that WELL ,am really getting old....at times feel that i need a study buddy like those in my college.I really feel so called toughest and prestigeous courses are no big deal if i can sit like that 1 week.
Apart from that now a days life is much more complex,demanding coz my responsibilities doesn't end with my bread earning for myself ,it extends to my family's future,my company's prospects and of course for my dreams for future...
I must be able to focus on what i need to do and accomplish the tasks.
To be truthful when i read about youngster cricketers Like Irfan Pathan and Suresh Raina,telling their stories that how they tried to remain focused for success ,i drive SOME amount of motivation...But huh!! it's not enough.
As i always said "Self motivation is best motivation" ..So got to move on same.
BTW,i just typed down all this coz i wanted to spend some time thinking aobut all this and hopefully i can draw some motivation.....

Hitler

Huh! I am reading Mein Kampf ( My Fight ) these days...autobiograophy of the so called most tyrant ruler in the world history ..Adolf Hitler.
It is not that his character mesmarises me but certainly if it is claimed that mere his orating skills turned peacful and laid back Germans into fanatics and nationalists..there must be something in the guy! and that is why i wanted to read his speeches ,i went through some including one of his last public speeches in Munich.
To me except for a few points he sounded like a perfect and ideal leader,or let me say my idea he WAS a pretty good leader but his causes had a tinge of hatred again a race ,which i don't feel like endorsing as per me one can not generalise character of any race ,which Hitler did...Personally i weight a person Only Individually as per his ability and capability ,notions or races and other barriers hardly affect this per me.
But yeah! some suprising learning i got like BEETLE car model from VOLKSWAGON ,is actually a design by Hitler himself...This is an evergreen model and still in sale since 1930's ..Amazing it is ..Beetle is highest eversold car model...Hitler gave new life to war trodden Germany..He pulled Germans to new hights of perfect in the fields of art and science and technology....It was his love for Architecture ,painting and design that gave many wornderful structures to Germany,unfortunately many of them got damaged in 2nd world war.The highways he built "AUTO HANN" still remain uncomparable in technique..
Well ,as i grew old i started realising that every coin has two sides ...every so called good thing has a bad side and every so called bad thing has a brighter side as well...people tend to make their ideas based on the history book and media of their time and also from the stories they hear since their child hood...But mind it ..it can be true it can be false..Searching truth is an intersting thing.
It is said that history is always written by a VICTOR..and he literally recreates history so as to be learnt by the coming generations Till the invent of internet it has remained the sole trend all over the world.one tried to capture history books ,writes goody goody autobiographies ,tend to label lost enemies as WORST people ,always!
In world war 2 for example ,blaming the axis powers Germany/Italy and Japan solely for everything wrong happened is unjust.People of whole of the countries and mind it, well educated countries were not fool to follow thier leaders to play the roles of the villains...they were actually one of the co heroes of the war movie who were made to be villain after loosing.For example after loosing first world war Germany was made to pay all the war expenses ,at the expense of it's own people..France and UK took larger chunk of German pie as germans went helpless after loosing.These nations wealth kept swelling at the expense of Germany..Germans were fighting deep crisis of resources and poverty,which made them spring back aggressively ,that is why Hitler got his supports from fellows.
Infact if i look back i feel Brits/French were more brutal in the treatment of locals when they captured colonies all over world (read Asia Africa specially),as compared with Germans..German did not have so many colonies...Who imposed Indigo famring in Bengal despite of knowing that it makes the soil unfertile for any other use....killing bengalis due to lack of food..They( Brits) did it for short time money as Indigo had a good market in Europe...They imposed shut down of all the cotton mills in India so as Indians will have to buy cotton from Manchestar Mills which were lossing business due to tough competion by mills in Kanpur,Surat and Bombay etc. Millions in India went jobless and they had no way to survive..Who killed thousands brutaly in jalianwala bagh...Brits..Well same kind of atrocities and inhuman treatment was given to locals of africa and Latin America by French and Espaniards respectively....Why blame only Germans..I belive Churchill was as bad a Hitler....

How to kill cockroaches

Here is a simple recepie time and my tested to get rid of cockroaches.
Take equal quantity of refined wheat flour and Boric acid powder( also called boric powder) ,add a bit of milk and good amount of sugar,roll it into balls and keep it at the dark and marshy places in your home (especialy kitchen ) where your expect raoches to grow most!
I was helpless coz of roaches growth in my kitchen and not a single medicine was good enough as after a while roaches were getting immune to it ....then someone suggested me this and now there is not a single unwanted guest in my kitchen now for months.
BORIC ACID POWDER is a white colored powder very cheaply and easily available on medical /chemists shops and is also used to keep your feet free from any bacterial or fungal growth ...
Try it and comment it ,how effective it was....
